I'll meet you in the light
pieces of painted clouds fall on my tongue
I ingest the dream incased in blue
the elusive rainbow looms high overhead
and guards the sacred conception of Eros
I am running with your light beams
clutching them tightly against the threat of imminent night
my fear convolutes the dream for a moment
as the tower of Moirai bats three golden eyes
and yet, as I see it, my beating heart quiets
the tree, in all of its breathtaking splendor, has taken form
just as we knew it would
it transcends our tearful plea
just underneath the blue
our creation has endured
and now begins to bear fruit
drink with me
dance with me
spin dizzy circles with me
I'll meet you in the light...

Like a romance with a french impressionist, a wild love of a wild fauve.
